<Q: Please elaborate on your language policy.> The value of packaging and how important the role of packaging is in enabling our modern lives. Packaging should be responsible and well designed, thought through for its whole life including its reuse or recycling. 
<Q: What makes a good packaging label? What information should be prioritised?> Clear action oriented information - what to do next with the item of packaging that is in your hand. 
<Q: Can you describe your approach, or the approach of your organisation, to supporting/point-of-sale information with regard to plastic packaging?> Make it as clear as possible for the consumer - talking to them in their language rather than industry language 
<Q: Are there any examples of labelling that you are especially proud of? If you aren't involved in design, please tell us about some packaging/labelling that you especially like, and why.> I like the clarity of the OPRL Binary Labelling, I think the consistency across different brands and packs is really helpful. 
<Q: What information would you wish to be included on packaging labels, if e.g. space and branding weren't an issue?> If space weren't an issue I'd be interested in relevant information about the packaging and why its used. 
<Q: Is there anything that you purposely avoid including on packaging labels?> anything that would confuse the consumer and make the messaging harder to navigate 
<Q: What do you most want consumers to take away from the text on packaging labels? Is there any messaging that you feel isn't landing with consumers?> what to do with the packaging now that they've finished with it.
